About Me

Winnie E. Thompson is a public relations strategist, entrepreneur, and author whose work centers on amplifying Black voices and youth-driven initiatives. As the founder of Booked Enterprise, she has carved a niche in culturally conscious branding and storytelling, empowering clients to share their narratives with authenticity and impact.

Her journey into PR was inspired by her son, Sidney Keys III, whose passion for reading led to the creation of Books N Bros; a groundbreaking book club for African American boys. Recognizing the need for representation in literature, Winnie played a pivotal role in shaping the organization's mission and outreach, ensuring that young Black boys see themselves reflected in the stories they read.

Why Work With Me

At Booked Enterprise, Winnie offers a suite of services including media relations, brand development, and strategic communications. Her approach is deeply rooted in community engagement and social impact, making her a sought-after consultant for organizations aiming to connect authentically with diverse audiences.

At Booked Enterprise, I blend purpose and personality, strategy and storytelling, to help Black-owned businesses and leaders get seen — and get booked. But here’s the thing: I’m not just a publicist. I’m a creative, a connector, and a culture-keeper who understands the why behind your what.

A few reasons clients trust me:

  • I became a mom at 16 and built a purpose-led business from the ground up. So I know what it means to overcome, rebrand your life, and lead with heart.

  • I advocate fiercely for Black women, families, and founders. As a philanthropist and community builder, I’m committed to legacy work.

  • I specialize in aligning brands with stories that matter — because I’ve lived a few chapters myself.

I can make collard greens better than your granny — just ask my husband.😉

And a few fun facts, because vibes matter too

  • I’m a DIY queen who loves a good open house tour, a creative project, or museum day.

  • If there’s a music festival nearby or a new city to explore count me in (as long as there’s a dance break).

  • I bring flavor to everything I touch! That means campaigns, conversations, and content.

When we work together, you’re not just hiring a publicist. You’re partnering with someone who sees your vision, understands your audience, and knows how to turn your purpose into presence.
